This Jodhpur Jaisalmer tour package will give you the best cultural experience of Rajasthan. You will experience the bygone era of royalty when you visit the palaces and forts. You will step into a world of royalty, folk culture, and architectural finesse on this tour.
Our Jaisalmer Jodhpur itinerary starts with Jodhpur and this Blue City of Rajasthan has many wonderful monuments. We will take you to visit some breathtaking architectural buildings like Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace etc. You will experience first-hand the medieval-era charm of Jodhpur.
Jaisalmer is famous for the Jaisalmer Golden Fort and numerous havelis. You will realize just how marvellous these havelis are in terms of carvings and architectural beauty. You can take walks in the fort and visit so many havelis and temples.
Sam sand dunes area is famous for desert adventure activities. You can go on camel rides and enjoy Rajasthani gypsy dance and music performances. The desert dunes landscape will enthral you with its sheer beauty. You can visit heritage sites like Kuldhara and the Jaisalmer War Museum.
Itinerary
- After you arrive in Jodhpur, our tour representative will pick you up and transfer to the hotel.
- After the check-in process, begin the sightseeing tour of Jodhpur.
- Begin with Mehrangarh Fort, which featured in many Hollywood and Bollywood movies.
- Explore the palaces in the fort (Moti Mahal, Phool Mahala, Sheesha Mahal) and visit the museum, which has many ancient artefacts.
- Then visit Jaswant Thada, a marble memorial for the former maharaja of Jodhpur.
- Moving on, we will visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, where the current king of Jodhpur still lives in one section of the palace.
- After this visit, visit Clock Tower Market, where the clock is still working and shows the correct time of day after all these decades.
- Now back to the hotel an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, check out from Jodhpur and proceed to Jaisalmer.
- Make a short stop on the route and visit the Jaisalmer War Museum.
- View wartime aircraft, battle tanks, weapons, and photographs of the Indian army.
- Resume onwards and reach Jaisalmer, known as the Golden City.
- Check into the hotel and stay overnight.
- After breakfast, begin the sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer city.
- First, we will visit Jaisalmer Fort, which is ranked in a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan.
- Walk on the lanes inside the fort and visit temples, havelis, and shops.
- Thereafter, visit Patwon ki Haveli, which is a collection of 5 havelis. Timings are from 8 AM to 5 PM
- The outer architecture is spectacular, and you can view carvings, various artefacts inside the haveli.
- Move on and visit Salim Singh ki Haveli, which was built by Salim Singh, a minister of Jaisalmer, in the 19th century.
- We now visit Nathmal ki Haveli, which has intricate carvings, paintings, and jharokha (balconies).
- Now visit Gadisar Lake, which has many monuments surrounding it.
- Then transfer to Jaisalmer Desert camp, which is approximately a 45 km journey.
- Check into the desert camp and enjoy various activities.
- Camel safari (2 pax per camel)
- Rajasthani dance and music performance
- Bonfire party/ DJ music
- Tea/ coffee with snacks in the evening
- Buffet dinner and breakfast
- Luxury camp stay accommodation with an attached bathroom
- Stay overnight in the desert camp
- After breakfast, visit the Kuldhara Abandoned Village site, which is a heritage place.
- View the ruined houses and temples of Kuldhara Village.
- Walk in the narrow lanes, and feel the mysterious vibes of Kuldhara.
- Now check out of the desert camp and drive to Jodhpur.
- Drop off at Jodhpur Airport/ Jodhpur Railway Station.
- End of the Jodhpur Jaisalmer tour package.
